Storyteller

Ronny Hill is a 22-year-old Nicaraguan American multi-instrumental artist who arrived in the United States at age eight. By ten, he had already picked up his first guitar—only to start giving lessons four years later. An “old soul in a young body,” Ronny possesses a deep appreciation for roots music in all its forms, from blues and country to old-school Americana and reggae.

His guiding lights include Patsy Cline, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, and Robert Johnson. These artists' timeless artistry formed the foundation of his musical journey, inspiring a love for roots-based sounds that continues to blossom in his work today. Whether he’s onstage or in the studio, Ronny’s study of the past allows him to paint with colors and sounds that connect listeners to the heart of each song.

The Ronny Hill Band was formed in 2018. He also spent 2023 as the lead guitarist and vocalist for the South Florida cover band, Jokers Wild. His freshman release and full length album "Big Change Coming" is out now. The album deals with his personal relationships/dreams and his reaction to his surroundings.

Fun fact: An avid sports fan, Ronny once wagered his own guitar and won a coveted National resonator guitar in a bar bet concerning a statistic of Dan Marino!
